"THE COMFORTING MISSION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT"
In previous series, we studied about the kingdom of God and its components, we were brought to the mutual understanding of the scope and shape of the various components and how they make the kingdom function more effectively.
The kingdom of God has an health care program chiefly pioneered by the Holy Spirit. This health care package or program is for the citizens of the kingdom (i.e. Believers physical and spiritual health), through the ministry of the Holy Spirit they receive healing and comfort in physically or spiritually challenged.
One of the mission of the Holy Spirit is to bring comfort to believers. Jesus said "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you" (John 14:18), in verse16. He said "I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever". The Holy Spirit brings comfort to us today, keeping us from: aggravation, annoyance, bother, botheration, distress, exasperation, irritation, torment, torture etc..
The Holy Spirit mission is to supply us with unending comfort of God with His love, making us free from loneliness, sorrows, oppressed emotions, despair etc... this was the secret behind the impacts of the apostles, they were never depressed nor discouraged even in the midst of tribulation and affliction.
Jesus comforts us today in all tribulation through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. (2 Cor. 1:3-5)
