"THE MISSION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT"
The mission of the Holy Spirit is basically to promote the influence of the kingdom. Many Bible scholars has written on this subject matter, and postulated many 'missions' of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, but in the next few series, we shall be examining the mission of the person of the Holy Spirit, and we shall see how the Holy Spirit brings us into the likeness of Christ.
Amongst other, the mission of the Holy Spirit is to teach believers, Jesus speaking concerning Him, He said: "He shall teach you all things..." (John 14:26, 16:12-14). The Holy Spirit is the principal teacher in the kingdom, He educates believers about the things of the kingdom, and because He is omniscient (knowing all things), He will teach us all things we may need to know, in times of trials and every issues of life. He teaches us also on how to follow, serve and promote the kingdom.
The Holy Spirit' mission is to facilitate the will and purposes of God in heaven and on earth, that is the highest priority in the scale of preferences in His missionary agenda. Only things that pleases the Godhead He promotes, He is committed in helping as many believers who rely on Him to lead and work with them, as He never forces anyone over their will.
When we study more about the Holy Spirit, by revelation we come to an understanding of His awesome personality of Him, and that how we can do without Him if we must truly promote the kingdom.
