JULY 2017 THEME

Amazing Greetings in the Exalted Name of Jesus!

Welcome to July, the beginning of the 2nd half of 2017. It is no doubt that this year has been to us a year of real spiritual discipline and preparations, diverse progression and spiritual growth In Christ. We are most assuredly gaining stature in the person of Christ, this we believe will continue untill we all come to oneness with Him. (Ephesians 4:13)

Scriptures makes us to understand that, at salvation there was an exchange of life, our old life for the new life (which is the life of Christ). We saw how Paul the Apostle emphasize this several times in the epistles. For instance we saw from the Scriptures below:

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

We received not just a new life in Christ, our life is hid in Christ. 

"For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." (Colossians 3:3)

This now makes it clear that we are not just living our life, but the life of Christ. We are supposed to live after this consciousness of the new life in Christ, and this is the corporate life Jesus has given to the Church, the body of Christ, i.e. to all that believes in Him (John 3:16). 

This July 2017, we are examining God's ultimate desire for the corporate life and the church, not just the building, but the spiritual house. God is not after fragmentary or individual pieces or parts. God desires the whole body, not a finger or any other member. What God wants is the Church, that Christ have the preeminence in the Church and to the head of the church as well.

Jesus lived an exemplary lifestyle of kingdom corporate life and culture of heaven. He is the exemplary of the church life. "The Church life is Christ coming out of the saints for His corporate expression". However, if Christ remains imprisoned within us, we cannot have the corporate life. 

Therefore, the prophetic theme for July 2017 is: "JESUS AND THE CHURCH".

This month, lets examine how we should model our corporate life In Christ.
