GROWING DEEPER IN THE LOVE OF JESUS
Jesus expect us to know Him by revelation as we walk with Him, this is why the Holy Spirit is given to us, to unfold the revelation of Christ Jesus to the body of Christ, to the Church and to the world. (This is through the agency of the Fathers government (via the office of the Holy Spirit).
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)
The entire body of Christ is anchored In Christ Jesus. He is the foundation and chief cornerstone of the Christian Faith. The devil will fight against any intension is attempt to revealing who Jesus truly is, the devil may not have problem with other kinds and levels of the Gospel, but when it comes to unfolding the Man Jesus Lord and Christ, he will do anything to resist it through all of his agents and gadgets.
However, Growing deeper in knowing Jesus and the Gospel, attracts different level of oppositions. The most important thing in the Christian walk is in gaining stature in the Christ Jesus, until we become full in His Image and likeness as Paul passionately gave expression of his longing for greater depth in for the church at Ephesus.
" Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:" (Ephesians 4:13)
"..fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ." (Ephesians 4:13 MGS)
"[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him." (Ephesians 4:13 AMP)
