"STIMULANT FOR HOPE IN HARD TIMES"

Today, lets examine a stimulating factor that enhances our Hope in Christ even in hard times. Obviously, irrespective of times and seasons. There is always what to do, and there is always a way out of any kind of challenges we may be faced with per time. 

THE STIMULANT OF PRAISE 

A stimulant is something (such as a drug) that makes you more active or gives you more energy, its a factor that causes you to be more active. David in the Scriptures recommended Praise as the stimulant of Hope in hard times, this was what he said:   

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me?

hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." (Psalm 43:5) 

In the Scripture above, the Psalmist prescribed a drug that will keep the health and countenance God's people healthy. When you don't know what to do, or when no hope seems to be coming at the end of the tunnel, Praise is what else to do.

The focus i like us to hold on to even in hard times, is that; We should be stimulated with hope in God, like i came to conclusion some years back that IT TAKES JOY TO ENJOY GOD. True Joy is only found in God, No hope, No Joy and No Joy No God. 

In summary, Hope in God, believe that in all things God is the source and shield of our Hope of our destiny. Never therefore, let hard times pushes you away from God, instead, maximize the times and season building a solid relationship with God through intimacy with God
