"WHAT DOES JESUS SAID ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT?"

From the Words of Jesus, we can draw evidences on the fact that; the Holy Spirit is a Person. Jesus continually uses personal pronoun in referring to Him (John 15:26, John 16:7-8,13). According to the rule of Scriptural interpretation and exegesis, ", the subject of "The ministry of The Holy Spirit" is one of such that is mentioned and emphasized in several portions in the Bible. Jesus said many things about Him!

Some Commentary from Jesus about The Holy Spirit  

1. Jesus calls Him "Another Comforter" (John 14:16, 15:26) 
2. He will testify of Me (John 15:26) 
3. He will guide believers in all truth (John 16:13) 
4. He abides with us (John 14:16) 
5. He will bring all things to our remembrance of Me (John 14:26) 
6. He will show us things to come (John 16:13)

The above listed commentaries suggest the vital need for the ministry of the Holy Spirit. (in the next post, we shall discuss the relevant role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer). The Holy Spirit is always in need of our constant fellowship, communion and participation with Him. Paul prays for the church that His ministry be our reality (2 Cor. 13:14).

One spectacular thing Jesus said about the Holy Spirit is that; "He shall glorify Me... (John 16:14), this is key to our Mission for 2017 (EXALTING JESUS), He will make Jesus better known to us. This is one reason i believe, we can never know Jesus more intimately without the ministry of the Holy Spirit, we can't bypass His Person and Ministry.
