JESUS AND THE KINGDOM #10

"THE COMPONENTS OF THE KINGDOM" 

Teachings about the Kingdom of God has been ignorantly left out in many pews today. Many supposed believers in the kingdom of God knows little or nothing about the kingdom wherein they are from, we do care to know more about other things happening around the world more than in the kingdom. 

It is unfortunate that we have turn far from our root as followings of Christ Jesus; whose one mission was centered on the kingdom. It was evident that the entire life of Jesus was invested in promoting the kingdom of God. 

According to Jesus, the following describes some of the components that makes up the kingdom of God:

1. A KING/LORD- one that has sovereignty over the kingdom 

2. A TERRITORY- a domain which the king exercises His sovereignty 

3. A CITIZENRY- the people that live under the rule of the king

4. A CONSTITUTION- the covenant of the King with His citizenry 

5. A COMMONWEALTH- the economic system of the Kingdom 

6. LAW- the standards and principles established by the King

7. PRIVILEGES- the benefits the King lavishes on His faithful citizenry 

8. CODE OF ETHICS- the acceptable conduct of the citizens of the kingdom 

9. ARMIES- the kingdom system of securing and protecting its territory 

10. SOCIAL CULTURE- the environment created by the life and manners of the king and the citizens
