"THE REVELATION FAITH"
Faith in Jesus is accessible by Revelation, not a sense knowledge faith (as discussed in last series). This Faith is powered by the Spirit of God not by our sight, feelings, sounds, it is beyond the sense realm.
It was John Wesley that said: "the devil has given the Church a substitute for faith that looks and sounds so much like faith, many people can't tell the difference. He called it 'mental assent."
The faith of Jesus is a faith that has no respect for what the eyes can see or have seen, nor ears heard (1 Cor. 2:9-10). The senses can't comprehend the revelation Faith, except revealed by the Spirit of God.
However, God has given everyone a measure of faith, making faith a medium we link between our limited power with the unlimited power of God. This makes faith not to be 'the answer', but a link to the answer.
The Good News is that, we are the generation of people Jesus prophesied about, the people that will follow and believe in Him by revelation and not by sight... He said:
"...Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29 NKJV)
Our Faith in Jesus is not supposed to be sponsored by our head knowledge nor the physical evidences of the senses. Our Faith in Jesus is simply by revelation.
